Delete your account
You can delete your Modfun account and all the data in it at any time. Deletion is permanent and can't be undone.
Deleting your account doesn't cancel your subscription. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play first.
From inside the app (the quickest way)
- Open Modfun and sign in to your account.
- Tap Profile.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
- For your security, you may be asked to sign in again.
Your account is deleted right away. If you signed in with Apple, the link with Apple is removed too.
By email
If you can't get into the app, write to us from the email address linked to your account. Put "Delete account" in the subject line and tell us how you sign in (Apple, Google or email). We may ask you one question to confirm it's you. We'll complete your request within 30 days at the latest and let you know by email.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in details
- Your nickname, avatar and profile
- Your past game nights, stats and badges
- Your weekly plays and extra plays
- Your place in any open rooms (if you're the host, the room passes to the next person still in it)
What stays, and for how long
- Records of finished games are deleted within 24 hours anyway.
- Players with accounts who played with you will still see your nickname from that game in their own history.
- Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days and usage stats for up to 14 months; they aren't linked to your account.
- Purchase records stay with Apple, Google and RevenueCat for as long as the law requires.
If you play as a guest
Guest data is deleted automatically if you don't open the app for 90 days. To delete it right away, just go to Profile > Delete my account in the app.
