FAQ
Things you might be wondering
What is Modfun?
A party games app where friends in the same room each join with their own phone. The first games are Vampire Village and Spy, with more on the way.
Does everyone need to download the app?
Yes, everyone joins from their own phone and sees their role in secret on their own screen. You don't need an account: you can join as a guest in seconds.
How do I join a room?
Tap Join in the app and type the code the host shows you (it starts with MF- followed by 6 characters). You can also scan the QR code or tap an invite link someone sent you.
How many people can play?
A room holds up to 12 people. The minimum number of players for each game is shown when you pick it.
Does it cost anything?
Modfun is free. The person who starts a game uses one of 5 weekly plays for that game (2 as a guest); players who join don't use any. With an account, you can watch ads to earn extra plays. A monthly or yearly subscription gives you unlimited, ad-free games, and everyone in a subscriber's room plays ad-free.
